Maeve is a great in powerful name! When I was first born my name was spelt Meadbh (the real way to spell it no matter what people think) but then changed it to the English name Maeve when some flight attendant called me Muhammad

My name is Maeve. At first, I really hated it because people would mispronounce it or misspell it. Sometimes they'd call me MA-EVE, or MAY-VEE. Sometimes they'd spell it as Mave. But I like my name now. I like It's meaning. I like how strong and independent the name'suggests.

Sometimes thought of as the Irish form of Mabel. While at the present time Mabel mostly conjures up old women, how about Maeve for your child instead❤️ Much better than Mack or Mabel!

My name is Maeve and I absolutely love it! I was born in Ireland, but now live in the US, so it is not as common. It was tough in school with people not knowing how to pronounce it, but I love having a unique name that has meaning.

I gave my daughter, whose first name is Hebrew (her father is Jewish), "Maeve" for a middle name because I wanted her to have a Hebrew name and an Irish one, to reflect her entire heritage. I think It's a beautiful and graceful name. I'm trying to get it translated into Ogham so I can have it tattooed on the back of my shoulder, along with "Rachel" in Hebrew lettering.

The older I get (32) the more I like my name. Rebecca words very well at work and it is Becca or Bec at home. (Never Becky) Perfect for me!

My name's Maeve and I have become very accustomed to people mispronouncing it or misspelling it. I was actually thinking of changing it when I got older (I'm 21), but after reading about Queen Maeve, I appreciate its power and uniqueness.

My name is Maeve. I don't like that one meaning is that is means 'she who drinks' as in alcohol. But that is just one meaning. It also means, well, just someone who stands tall and clear minded. I like having the unique name. I recommend it

I knew a very very beautiful girl with the name Maeve. I love it and then I'm also not sure of it, mostly because it has an older'sound to it. But I have been so close to naming this baby I'm pregnant with at this time that name. I don't think that people would know how to pronounce it, or spell it, or even know what to say about it. It's very unique.
