i love being a yasmin. i think It's a beautiful name and much prefer it to jasmine! plus all my friends are very jealous and some have even said when'they are older and have daughters they will name them after me! so be proud to be a yasmin, It's rare, beautiful and unique! my only qualm is that i do get called jasmine by a few people who meet me for the first time. when i go to an arabic-speaking country they tend to call me "yasmine" (pronounced yas-meen). i don't mind either way! nicknames include: yas, yassy, yazoo and even minpin once lol
