My daughter's name is Aniyah as well. We pronounce it with the NIGH (NY) sound, however the correct pronounciation is with the NEE sound! Our older daughter is Aliyah (AH-LEE-AH) so in all actuality Aniyah is just changing the L to an N (AH-NEE-AH). I had the'same problem with Aliyah people were saying AH-LY-AH OR AH-LAY-AH, like my husband said we know how we want it pronounced and that's why we keep AH-NY-AH!
