Ive never met a bambi but i love it! people keep saying its a stripper name but i've never heard of it being that either, its pretty and unique but i wouldn't name a boy bambi even'though the deer was a boy, and also the name bambi was around way before the movie, its still pretty and it wasn't created especially for the Walt Disney Movie. My little sister is named Bambi Carol. Bambi is a cute name when you are 16, however'she is 48 now and she uses her middle name now. She'stopped using since she was around 25. Our family's name also starts with 'B' and an employer'suggested that her name had too many bouncing bees in It'so she'started using her middle name, she'still does even'though her married name'starts with an 'E'.

I am also a Bambi.Sixty two years ago mum discovered half an hour after my brother was born she was having another baby which she named Susan Bambi. I was called Susan until around 2 1/2 years old but my twin couldn't get his tongue around Susan but could say Bambi & that's what my family all call me, It's shortened to Bam. When I was at school kids would laugh at my name & I decided the become Sue aged 13. My kids & their families have only known me as Sue. Now I use Susan but yes it does get complicated being 4 names,I always know who is talking to me when'they call me the name they know me as. High five to all the Bambi's

My name Isn't Bambi, but one of my old boyfriends used to call me it when we first met. My name is Bambi and the dumb, blonde, bimbo stereotype seems to be mostly dead at this point, at least with 18-25 year old college students, which is awesome! I grew up hearing a bunch of rotten,sexist, and demeaning comments, mostly from older men and sometimes from people my age. Overall my experience with my name has been fine. People remember it once they realize I'm not actually Brandy. And it works well for certain occupations: bartender, ski instructor, waitress, animation adviser, and more but I do have to work harder to be taken seriously. I love that I break the'stereotype.
