Charlotte-Maree was a name I have had for a baby since I was about 14 - I did intend at the time to chorten it to Charlee, as was the thought when I was a teenager to think of names that would get good nick names. I know like full names and think Charlotte is a very pretty and femine name for a girl thanks

My name is Charlotte (Jayne) and I love my name. I *hate* being called Charlie and reprimand all who do, but I don't mind being called Lottie as that is more feminine than Charlie. I have to admit that I am tiny and feminine, but have to agree with the reviewer Kat Salmon in that she has 'me' down to a tee in regards to the name. It was like reading about myself. Spooky.

I love my name!!! I have read in alot of books that the meaning of Charlotte is meant to be the OPPOSITE of the meaning Charles (which is "manly"), so Charlotte is meant to mean "strong, Womanly, Feminine and Lady" ;) I hate getting the occasional nickname of Charles. I ust love Charlotte! It sounds so posh and trendy. I get called Char and Chaz though which I don't mind!
