Ive always loved Ella-Louise when i have a girl this is the name im using :)
my moms name is ella its weird i hear other little girl with ella and it sounds so soft and elegant but when i think of my mom and her name it never seemed elegant on her lol
Ella= she in spanish ella es bonita= she is pretty
I love the name Ella! I mean it is my name :) Sometimes I wish it wasn't because also I want to name my daughter Ella :) frustrating when people think your name is Emma... eyhh not as pretty. and to Ella Kate... that is what my mom wanted to call me. I am ella catherine (ella cate) but the cate never stuck... I really like it though. It also stinks that Ella is becoming more popular. I used to be the only one under the age of 85 lol but now they are everywhere!
I just named my daughter Ella Grace... beautiful name.
I have been tossing around a few "favourite" baby girl names for a while now.. and Ella Grace just seems to stick.. I think they are both elegant and "old fashioned names".. We were going to go with Holly, but I can't get the name Ella out of my head!!!! As for Ella the Mad's comment ritten by Ella the mad, March 17, 2008 My name is ella and im 23. I really pisses me off that all these kids now have my name. I realise that i wasnt the first person to be called ella but it still anoys me because i used to enjoy having a not so common name. You should be proud and flattered that so many people like your name and want to use it for their children.. That would quality would suit your name more than getting mad about it !!!!!!!!
Ella the mad, you really need to get over yourself, you are right, you are not the only one with that name and definately were not the first so i dont understand why you're having a sook. when i was younger my name was quite uncommon too. And now it has started becoming rather popular. Rather than getting uptight about it, it actually makes me happy because its such a beautiful name.
I love the name Ella is it so graceful and pretty!
I love love love love this name. I think it is so pretty and I want to use this name soooo bad and my fiance what does he have to say❤️ But I don't like the name Ella. Grrrrrrrr I want this name and I'm the one giving birth.
I love this name, I would like to call my baby girl Ella May or Ella Rose! Orginal and uncommon and it doesn't sound tacky like some other names!
my middle name is Gabriela so some people call me Ella, which is fine by me, I am practically in love with that name. If I have a girl ill name her Ella, if it's a boy, i think ill call him Hunter
in my baby naming book, Ella means beautiful fairy maiden. I know somebody who has just called their new born Ella-Grace, very elegant! p.s I also know of a baby called Tullae very qute in the dance world.
My fiance and I are having the hardest time finding a first name for our baby which will be here in a couple of months, and this name sounds so cute and I have never actually met anyone with this name before. So I like the idea of our baby having a name that there won't be 10 other kids in her class with her name.
I had no idea what the name meant, I figured it meant something like "girl". This is the name of my youngest, she was named after her great-great grandmother whom we all loved and she passed a year before my Ella was born. Seeing it's meaning, it fits my little one perfectly. As for Ella the mad, the name is still not as common as Jennifer and Jason were for my generation. My sister's name is Jennifer, and my brother-in-law's name is Jason. If I had to go through what they have with their very common names, then I could understand being mad over a name. Ella's still not that common, even if it was one of the top baby names for 2002. Sympathizing with the Jennifers and Jasons, I wanted uncommon names for my kids. When I first decided on the name Morgan, it was very uncommon. However, by the time my daughter was born in 98 I was hearing the name everywhere. I loved the name too much to give it up, but worried about it being too common. My fears were unnecessary, she's only had to share her name with two other students in the entire school. My Ella's 7 and has yet to meet another Ella in real life, but she's thrilled when she hears her name in movies. "Ella Enchanted" was one of her favorites for the longest time. Now she enjoys being called "Ella-Bella" since her big sister loves Twilight.
After having a hard time coming up with names we could agree on, we named our little girl Ella Vivian. He came up with Ella (after Ella Fitzgerald) and Vivian is my grandmother's name. Although Ella isn't as unique as it used to be, it's a perfect fit for her. And at age 4, she absolutely loves her name.
My name is Ella Kate. I think it's pretty. And good luck to 'i love this name'. It is a pretty name and i know no one else called Ella.
I like the name as well. My husband loves it. His grandma was named Ella and we are hoping for a girl. If so, we are going to name her Ella Denise. After his grandma and my mother. We already have two boys. IF you fiance don't like try something similar. Even though, you are doing the pushing he still help make the baby and should be able to help with the name.
Always said and pronounced right. Said: the first part rhymes with yell, the'second part is just like the ah sound - Ella
