Where I am, this is still an "old lady" name (think Mildred or Phyllis). However, I suppose Mabel could make a comeback - BrIt'sh comedienne Tracey Ullman, after all, chose it for her daughter in 1998 and this Mabel, although so young, seems to now be coming of age.
