i've had my name'spelt so many ways, and assomeone commentedabove, growing up i could never find pens and headbands (when'they were trendy to hae) with my name'spelt my way....but i prefer my name'spelt this way, It'seems more feminime to me and more modern, I hate it when people spell it Kerry as it doesnt seem right!!

I love it--I love the'spelling in that It's unusual. Yes, It's a pain when people try to guess how to spell it--especially for phone messages (what difference does it really make❤️) I try to point out the'subtle difference between my name and Carey/Karrie/Carrie/Kari etc. is the difference between Merry Christmas! and Getting Married. So, Please don't ask me to Carry your books, Carry on, Carey Grant, Carry a tune... I'm also jazzed at its Irish/Gaelic roots--No wonder I am U2 obsessed--It's meant to be! I also got to make a dream trip to County Kerry Ireland in the'summer of 2018 (something i've wanted to do since 1994 when I discovered the boys from Dublin). It was fabulous! Yes everyone spells it wrong and pronounces it wrong!! It is pronounced (car-in) I am the fourth in our family tree and I am told it is a norwegian name.
I love my name Kerrie. I think it looks sweet. I actually like that It's not very popular. It'seems like just because a name is popular it automatically becomes pretty even if It's not. Like Kate, I don't think Kate sounds feminine at all (sounds like gate) but It's popular so everyone likes it. I don't like a name just because It's trendy. Too many people do that. It's so boring and unimaginative.
I named my daughter Kerrie, and she likes it. She doesn't come across other women who spell it that way. We have never been able to find items with names already printed on them with her'spelling "Kerrie".
