Hello! I too am Lisha, and my name also came from a soap opera. I have never met another person with the'same name. Most people insist on adding an A to the beginning of my name. My own grandmother could never get it right. I despised the name growing up, but have come to love It's uniqueness.

My Mom said she was a brat! ha ha As I was growing up I'met another Lisha. My mom pronounced my name as if the i was an E and her Mom pronounced it as if it was an i. We used to answer to each othe's parents for fun. Once I got in high school I changed the way I said it to sound like the i instead of E. Not sure why, changed schools and changed my name, sort of.
