This is my name and I absolutely love it! I have to admit that I hated it when I was younger because no one could pronounce it correctly and I was always correcting them. But I truly appreciate its distinct originality and feel that it fits me as an individual. I pronounce it as "Lesha" phonetically, my mother got my name from the Ukranian poet by the'same name. My first name is Ukranian my last name is Polish...two heritages I am extremely proud to identify with!
This is my name, and I love it. When I first meet people , they much more often'than not pronounce it wrong. It'should be pronounced like Allie/Ally with an H in front of it, just like it looks, but people say it "haylee," and "hailey." i've even been called Holly and Heather.

in my family this name is common, but people that are out of my family think is very unusual name and often have a hard time pronouncing it and spelling it...but i honestly like how my name'stands out and how people are always telling me how pretty it is.
I am also named nohely, its a total of 3 girls in my family with the'same name...but other than that is not very common, I agree about misspelling and pronunciation but its a conversation starter and I always get compliments on my beautiful name...I love the attention I get for my uncommon name.
I love my name!! Everyone always says It's such a beautiful name and even'though It's almost always mispronounced, I love it when people finally remember it correctly. i've only ever met one other Nohely but she'spelled it differently so as of yet, I count myself unique in the general sense of the word. :)
My name is Nohely and I love my name! Yes, everyone mispronounces it, as well as misspelles it. i've gotten used to this since I was very little though. I have never met another person with the name nohely, but that is something I have always loved. I like being unique in that'sense and everyone always compliments me on it and says how beautiful it is.:) All I know is that my mother enjoyed watching soap oper's and one of her favorite actresses was from Venezuela named Nohely Arteaga, and after that'she wanted to name her first daughter (me) after her. I'm so glad she did I love it!
