I'm planning on naming my girl Ava-Belle. Belle means beauty! I would use Bella however, for a first name instead of belle
my daughters name is lola-belle. i chose lola and her dad chose belle! everyone comments on how pretty it is.
Beautiful name. Very un-common now and I hope to call my daughter Belle
I think It's a horrible name. My cousin named her baby "Belle." Ick! Sounds like an old lady.
Our daughters name is Belle. People are always complimenting about what a pretty name it is. People often'think I am saying Beth until I say it again. We have not met another yet.
My great-grandma's middle name was Belle. She hated it, but I love it because it reminds me of her and how much it came up in conversation.
My daughter will be born in a couple of weeks and her name is Iris Belle. Her brothe's name is Lennon. I love the name, it popped up out of nowhere...I feel like she chose the name!
My mom named my sister Belle (after Belle from Beauty and the Beast because she looked so much like her) and I think It's beautiful. I really like Belle for a first name.
I love this name! It'sounds pretty and it reminds me of the princess from Disney. I also think of Southern Belle when I hear it. This name gives me good vibes.
i knew a little girl named Evelyn Bell and we called her bell
My name is Belle, and I have mixed experiences with it. The positives would be its meaning of fair and beautiful, and how simple of a name it is - however there are a few negatives. Something that's been occuring a lot recently would be people not hearing me correctly and assuming I said "Bella" or "Beth," Beth irritates me most since It's so far off. The other negative would be the nicknames (if you can even call them that) and jokes made off of the name, comparing it to a bell and making ringing noises (surprisingly adults do this way more than any person my age). Although the positives are nice and cute, the negatives come in and cancels those out so, in the end, It's just an ordinary name.
Our daughter's name is Belle and everyone loves the name and says that'she looks like a "Belle." At first people thought it was a little odd, but it grows on You'really quickly!
I think this is a beautiful name to have, considering it means "beauty" in French. One of my cousins is named Belle (after the Disney Princess).
We are naming our little boy Caden, everytime we mention'the name to family they say oh Hayden i like that name We have to say no Caden with a C... Then'they say oh CAYDEN we say no just CADEN lol hope he dont have lots of problems with his name growing up. but i love the name
My name is Belle but I don't like it as much as some other names as you can't shorten it to make a nickname but I do think it is a lovely name that'sounds pretty and inter'sting. It really irritates me when people assume it is pronounced Bella. Often I will point it out but people will still say Bella thinking I don't know how to say my own name. But overall I prefer it to names like Bella or Millie because it is very uncommon
