People often misspell my name as Kane or Cane, but my name is Cain, gotta say the bible thumpers here that claim that my name is n't to be liked simply because of Cain and Abel irritate me, especially the one negative person. Often I have had to in'truct people upon manners as they seem to lose all decency upon discovering how my name is spelt, but i guess that is to be expected from a southern baptist church. Otherwise my name has led to no issues, there is no one else in'the district or that i have met in my memory that has shared my name, so it goes without saying that my reputation will precede me just upon hearing mention of my name.
My son is thinking of naming his baby boy (due in Jan. 2019) Cain.
I respect people who have the name and wish them well in life. I too much associate it as the world's first murder and would stay away from it
Liz,I just wanted to say coadgarulntions to you and your soon'to be husband. I never would of thought that you would ever get married. I am really happy for you and I wish you love and prosperity.
We named our son Caleb Benjamin. It is a strong name and sounds cool too. It is an old fashioned name which we like, yet at the'same time, It'seems new since it became popular only recently. We like the meaning and that it is a Bible name. Although it is popular I don't hear too many boys named it. It is a perfect name for our boy.
It's my name! I'm a trans guy and I chose the name Cain for myself because It's super cool!! I love the name and wouldn't trade it for the world.
My nephew's name is Cain. He has red hair, and considering the'story of Cain and Abel, I call him Diablo (devil in spanish) though he is a VERY sweet and snuggly 1 year old! He is so cute and always has a big smile for everyone.
My name is Cain, which clearly demon'trates It's greatness.
My name's Cain. I enjoy It's uniqueness, but it can be a pain when people try to spell it (Kane, Cane, Kain,...). My last name is also super rare, so having the rare first and rate last name makes me pretty confident no on else has my full name, which is pretty cool.
To me, I think It's pronounced Ca-lay, cause that's how we pronounce our cousin's name, and It's spelled "Caleigh".
I LOVE MY NAME I'm 10 and my name is caain spelt a bit different but mum says it makes me original one of a kind
I think It'sounds good, and It's biblical..i really like it..but too bad he was the bad brother!
This is my son's name. The only issue is all of the religious connotations and some people assume that we are very religious (we're not),
I got no experienced just about what a read on'the Bibble. I have never heard anyone call their kids Cain. of course I'm sure some people have. Personally I dont like it Cain was a bad man envious of his brother and a criminal.
i called my son Cain... what a strong, wonderful name, so unusual! and with an irish meaning of'little warrior'.. i loved it when i was pregnant & love it now
When I see this name, I think that the parents of "Xzavier" are uneducated and cannot spell.
I was wondering about the popularity of the name. I think It's important to know the meaning of names before placing it upon our children. I found that Cain had one defin'tion of ❤️spear❤️. Although a spear can be used in a negative way it can also be used for protection. Yaaay for all those that chose to take back the power of their name. You can do great things. It's your choice!!!
I have a neighbour called Cain and he has a horrible temperament - really unpleasant
