My daughters name is Easter and people love it. It is ridiculous to not name a child something based on fear that'someone might make fun of them. Children have different names now and they pick on each other for everything, she is going to be just fine. The world has enough common, boring names. Having a different name builds character, and I know this first hand because my name is Fawn.
Happy St.Patricks Day to everyone!!!We have a pot of gold with all kinds of goidoes in it ,including homemade coupons like no chores for a week , or a new video game all kinds of things I take 25 potatos and with a water color marker write each childs name on them 5 times each.. I then hide them around the yard or in the house ..depending on where we decide to play and then I let the kids go and find them the first one to collect 5 potatos with each childs name on it and place them on a small green box we made in the right birth order gets to take a grab in the pot of gold..we have runners up so no one is left out!!! this is traditionally done after our big dinner .and dessert is a very green, white chocolate mouse!
What's up......the world is so small my name is iesha too and people mispell and pronounce it wrong all the time but i dont care because it adds to how different i am.the name iesha makes me feel special especially when someone asks me what my name is....the name is different and i am a very different person and i am from chesapeake virginia and i know only one other iesha and she goes to indian river and It's spelled soooooo different but i gues that makes her different tool.glad i didn't get named a simple name like jasmine or sarah.....
I know I wouldn't want to be named after a holiday involving pastel painted eggs and chocolate bunnies.
It just doesn't seem like a good name for a person. Maybe a rabbit❤️
It is common in Catholic / Eastern Orthodox cultures to name children after a feast day if they are born on that day. This could be a saint's name on most days, but if someone is born on Easter or Christmas they would be given'the name of a feast, for example, Noel or Pascal (French for Christmas and "of Easter"); as another example, Togliatti was given Palmiro as his first name because he was born on Palm Sunday. Some Christians (esp. devout Catholics) in the US keep this tradition even'thought It'seems odd to some Americans.
Its more of a holiday. Like naming your kid Christmas. Who does that❤️
My name is Easter and everyone makes fun of me on the holiday Easter.Everyone calls me the 3 E's because I'm named with all E's.My name is Easter Emerellda Egan.
my name is Easter and all of my life i was teased and people instead of calling me easter they would always call me esther. I quit using it when i got in high school but yet today that is my name. and the year i was born it was both easter and Aprilfools day all in one.
I associate the name with rebirth. Easter is the name of a pagan goddess, after whom the holiday was named after. I would give thumbs down to the name "Passover".
easter❤️ what a silly name. look at the popularity rate! nobody likes it just like me!
It's a date, about as stupid as naming your kid "Weekend".
