My mother when she had me i was a twin. My twin was Evelyn-Mae and I was **********-Rae (its not that long.). My sisters nickname was Evin and now she's gonna be Tia Eva. The weird thing was Evelyn had twins: Aeropostalia and Hollystirre like the companies except spelled difrently (they were both girls). And now I will have twin girls! Weird, huh! Talkin' about those companies, I'm gonna go buy some of that stuff tomorrow. They are the only kinds of clothes i wear.

Evelyn has always been my favorite name for a girl! What could you call her for short❤️ Evi❤️❤️❤️ But is it weird to spell it that way if there is no "i" in Evelyn❤️ I have a son named Riley, and we call him "Ri". But that makes sense because it is the first to letters in his name.

Never at all common as a male name and certainly obsolete today. A well-known bearer in the 20th century was the English novelist Evelyn Waugh, who pronounced his name as 'eev-lin' rather than in the American pronounciation for girls which is 'ev-lin'. Waugh was also married to a woman named Evelyn at one time, and together they were known as "He-Evelyn" and "She-Evelyn".
Hello my name is Evie! I love my name and so does everyone else. I was named after me grandmother Evelyn who passed away before I was born. She liked to be called Evie, so here I am. The problem is everyone, and I mean EVERYONE pronounces me name wrong! It is 'Ev (like the first part of Evelyn)-E (like the letter E.)And it really, REALLY upsets me when people call me 'E (like the letter E)-V (like the letter V) Which is another way you can pronounce it. But if you are going to pronounce it that way, spell it that way. Like Evy. Please respect the Evies out there! Lol!
Wow...so light is my middle name then haha.
Very cute I like the sound of irish names.
