I love the name Grayce! It is my oldest daughter's middle name.
I named my daughter GRAYCE in 2012. Most people are confused on how to correctly pronounce it, she prefers it to be "GRACE" and we add an "I" when we spell her name "Graycie".
I love my name Grayce. I never met another person with my same name and spelling of it until I was an adult. It always felt quite unique. I didn't appreciate it as a child, though. People kept insisting I spelled my name incorrectly. One teacher even made me write it without the y, and told me it was illegal to spell it with the y. Simply crazy. Thank goodness times have changed. For the record, it is pronounced the'same as Grace. Think about it. would you pronounce Joyce, Joycie❤️ Same rules apply. If it were Gracie with a y, It'should be spelled Graycie. I think It's a special name with a lovely meaning that inspires one to suit it well.
I love my name Grayce It's such a unique name I think I am lucky to have the name ❤️❤️❤️
When I have a child I really would like to name my daughter Lila as I love it. But, I always have pronounced the name as 'Lee-La' I love the'spelling and the name, but many people are saying It's pronounced 'Lie-la' which is still a very nice name but I prefer 'Lee-la' because It's so adorable. I really can't understand why it Isn't pronounced ❤️Lee-la❤️ because Lilo of ❤️Lilo and Stitch❤️ is pronounced ❤️Lee-lo❤️ So why does the ❤️O❤️ and the ❤️A❤️ make a difference. I think It's where You're from, in Hawaii, Spain etc then people will pronounce it the way I like but in England (Where I'm from) they would pronounce it as ❤️Lei-la❤️ which is really annoying!!! I guess most people are going to have problems because the way it is spelt will confuse many people because It's a beautiful unique name!
My daughter's name is Grayce. We wanted to name her a unique version of Grace. People pronounce it as Gracie a lot and now, being 8 years old, she will correct them instead of us. i've had several people say "but there is an e on the end" and I then explain "there is an e on the end of Grace too but It's not pronounced as Gracie". I think It's a beautiful name and my daughter loves it too. You won't find it on a keychain rack of names though. I have found 1 other person that her granddaughter was named Grayce.
