Kinda cute. Gwenny for a nickname doesn't sound too bad either.
I like the name Gwen It'sounds pretty and is good as a short name for Gwendolyn.
I really enjoy having a unique name like Gwen! i've only met one other person with the'same name and I like it that way! :-)
II love the name Gwen, but not Gwendolyn. That name has been mispronounced and spelled wrong, but Gwen has not been a problem for me.
beautiful name but hard to say, the GW Isn't an easy combo for people
I'm currently 6 months pregnant and will be naming my daughter after her grandmother, Gwendolyn but we will call her Gwen. I'm shocked this beautiful name Isn't more popular. Any variation of Gwen is gorgeous.
My name is Gwendolyn. Gwen, Gwennie, Gwenard, and even Wendy for short. But I prefer Gwen. It just depends on the person for the nickname they give me. I love them all. Its unique and means something to me that they have a special name for me. People who don't know me have a hard time spelling it or pronouncing it. I love that it is uncommon. i've know 3 other people with the'same name and 2 famous people I know of (Gwen Stafani & Gwyneth Paltrow). I love it when I hear my name in the movies or on TV. I beli've the name Gwen is making a come back. Go Gwen!!
I love my name. Gwen for me is short with Gwyneth. I have 2 completely differ'spellings lol. Gwen means happiness, holy, and white. I'm not trying to be racist,i looked up the names meaning. Gwen sounds so beautiful and i've only known 2 other Gwen❤️s. Gwen Stefani and This other girl named Gwen.
My name is Gwen and i've never had a problem with the name. I always know when people are talking about me because 'Gwen' Isn't a common name where I'm from. No one has ever mispronounced it, misspelled it, or ever thought it was dumb. In response to that comment up there says my name is "un-womanly" and "hard" you don't have enough common sense to realize that your comment is kind of sexist. If you have kids, I feel bad for them having to grow up with stupid gender roles.
My name is "Gwendolyn" and I love the name. It's unique, and my two nicknames (Gwen and Wendy) are both so simple and easy to remember. My name'seems to cover all three corners of the naming universe: unique, normal, and cute.
People have always had trouble spelling (not pronouncing.)Quin, Gwin, Quen, Gwenn, Gwyn ... seen all those. I like that it cannot be shortened to any silly nickname. Tried to give my girls easier to spell names. It was good because it was unique ... not popular/over'sed so I didn't have other kids at school with same name.
I named my first daughter Gwen. Back when little girls played with paper rolls, I had a doll named Gwen. I always did live the named and It'suits exactly my beautiful, generous, brilliant daughter.
It'sounds a little hard and un-womanly... I prefer Wendy.
I love this a=name but no one has it or can spell it.
My name is Gwen and I like the name but I always have to tell people multiple times what it is because they always think it is Quen. I like that It's uncommon though. Never met anyone with the'same name.
