My 7 month old son is named Jagger, and it is defiantly a hit with everyone we meet. Everyone says he'll be a rock star one day with his name and personality.
My first born child's name will be JAGER if a boy, and JAGGER if It's a girl. This name totally rocks for my future rock star.
We named our son Jagger in 2015. We almost changed it a week later after after many negative comments. It'seemed like anyone under the age of 30 LOVED it and anyone over 50 at the time had something negative to say. My son is now 14 and LOVES his name :) So NO, we didn't give in to peer pressure.
We spelled our daughter's name Kailee, and it is always tough to understand how people can get "kay-lee" out of that, too. It doesn't look anything like "hay" or "may" but Kai, "eye"... Well, we chose it to mean ocean meadow- (water, land). So that'she would be well founded and at home anywhere. My mother, bless her heart, tried very hard to pronounce it correctly when we first told her. It always sounded like kaiLEE. Hahaha
I really like this name- It's original and assertive too. I knew a Jagger, and everyone knew him, too! Although I prefer the'spelling "Jager" or "Jaegar"
My son's name is Jagger and he was born in 2005. I was watching General Hospital at the time and Jagger Cates was one of the characters on the'show and I loved it!
Although best-known as the'surname of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, as a first name it was recently chosen by American actress Soleil Moon Frye, of 'Punky Brewster' fame, and her actor husband Jason Goldberg for the'second of their two children, Jagger Joseph Blue, although this one is a GIRL. Their first child, born in 2017, is also a girl, this time with the more feminine-sounding names of Poet Sienna Rose (Poet is actually a borrowing of the word 'poet' which indicates somebody writing poems).
This is my #1 right now! I really love it as It's unique and sounds pretty when spoken.
I named my son Jagger in 2014 because I loved the character Jagger on General Hospital and his daddy likes Mick Jagger. It is a sexy rocker name and It'suits him perfectly. He loves it also and is proud of it; he actually learned to say his whole name before he was 2 years old. He also thinks he's a cowboy so it fits that part of his personality also. We get so many compliments on it everywhere we go. Before we named him, we researched the popularity because we wanted something more on the unique side. Now there is a Beverly Hills Housewife with a son on the'show named Jagger which is the'same age as my son and I'm sure that the name will gain more popularity.
My grandson is is named Jagger - deliberately after "Mick". Both parents grew up with his music and so did I. I agree that if you have that name you are automatically 'cool'. Jagger will turn 6 December 29th - born in 2020. So at the time, there weren't that many kids named Jagger and it was really hard to call a newborn 'Jagger' but he grew into his name and it TOTALLY suits him!!
My sons name is Jaeger and it definitely fits his personality. We love it!
We named our son Jagger in 2018. It is pronounced just like mick's last name. Fits him well as he is rough and tough and tears up everything like a hurricane.
I like the name fixing to have a grandson with the name
Named our son Jagger in 2018 as well. Did not have a named picked out and my husband walked in and said "what about Jagger"❤️ The it was the middle so we game him mine which is Leigh and we spelled it that way too. I have had no negative comments about it.
i've been living with the name for 20 years. Although I now live in Denmark (where most people always pronounce it wrong the first time), i've always found it pretty nice to have a name that Isn't too common. Another bad thing is how everyone seems to beli've I'm named after Mick Jagger, which I am not. However, most people think It's cool that I have such an unusual name, especially in a country where English is not the first language.
This is my babies name. We call her Ella/ Ella Bella and Annabella a lot. She is a sassy 2 two year old and people love her name!
In 2013 I named my son Jagger Gabriel. He has been called Mick all his life by friends of mine. Although he was not named after Mick Jagger. The name fits him so well though. He is very much into music and will be a drummer in a rock band one day. When I named him there were not many people who have heard that as a first name.
We just named our little boy Seth. I have never met a Seth before (I can'think of 3 famous Seths tho), but It's strong biblical history makes it a timeless name (even'though we are not religous). We also like it because it cannot be shortened. When I found out that Seth was also the Egyptian god of chaos and destruction It'swung it for me. he'seems to be living up to his name!!
Jagger means strong & loyal in Sanscrit, the mother of all Indian languages.
Me and my husband are expecting our second child December, 2014. His name will be Jagger Dean. I love this name. Almost didn't want to write a post about it because I am praying it doesn't become more popular! It's a name that definitely turns some heads! :)
Easy to pronounce, but rarely used. Everyone loves it! You are either a Jagger or you aren't. Not all kids/men can pull off this name. It is a strong name for a strong man and spunky boys.
I named my son Jagger. I am VERY happy with it! We did get alot of weird looks in the beginning suggesting "why are you naming your child that!" when I was pregnant with him but all have come to see It'suits him perfectly! And dang it, its just a COOL name I think. We hear that all the time now.
We named our son Jaiden, we chose to spell it that way to be a bit different, and I also think it is better thn spelling it Jayden (seems a bit girly) I have heard that it is a combo of Jacob and Aiden so it makes sense to spell it Jaiden.
My name is Jagger and some people pronounce the a as in yams. People do think I was named after Mick Jagger. My friends in middle school are callin' me mick for short. I like my name and a lot of people thinks It's cool.
