hI'my name is keara and people say my name wrong somtimes I think it is a really uniqe name!
I am also a Keara. I pronouce it like K"ear"a , I am Irish . I got all kind of tease names, but I have always liked my name. Keara LynaI'mcCardle
My daughter's name is Keara, pronounced Key-are-a. That is how I first hear it pronounced and spelled (first hear it as the name of a wolf). I thought about spelling it Kiara so people would say it right, but my husband wanted this spelling. I think it is a beautiful name but most people mis-pronounce it keer-a or key-air-a. That's annoying. Doesn't help that Keiras sometimes spell it the'same and pronounce it different. The original Celtic spelling is Ciara but that would probably get even more botched as sierra or something.
my name is keara i love my name because is unique and It'sound like a super'star name, people always spell my name kiara and thats the reason i like it because they think its, a usual name but its not.
My name is Keara also! I love my name-- i've never met anyone who spells it like me. I have heard that Keara was an Irish saint & was based off of Kearney which means warrior. I also have heard it can mean "hope for the future" Dark is generally the other'spelling, but It's pronounced the'same so I guess the meanings can intertwine
My name is keara. I really like my name but I hate how people don't know how to say it, I pronounce k-ear-a.
My daughter name is Keara. My wife and liked that name for the meaning "dark". My wife is Mexican (dark skinned)and I am Irish. My daughter is a dark skinned beauty. The mexicans pronouce her name with the "r" being little trill (rolled)We pronounce it Key air a with a trill of the "r" My daughter likes her name expect you cannot find any pencils or license plates with her name on it.
My names Keara i pronouce it Keer-a every one pronouces it wrong they pronouce it like ke-ara.No one where i live has my name'spelled the way i spell it. they spell it keira. i've always thought i was special that way. but people say i cant be a keara because im not black (not saying anyhting about race really) but i spell mine keara gets very annoying when people say that.I love my iriish name my brother has an irish name also.My whole family isi irish im very proud of it.
Keara is an amazing name. i love that i am the only one that i know that'spells it "keara".
Keara is a great name. Because It'sounds like keyara. I am the only Keara that I know of in my area. My dad got the name from a list of Irish names a friend gave him. I also like it becasue it is very unique.
I love unusual names and love names to be sing-song. So when we where looking for names for my daughter we met a read the name tag of a waitress, "Keara". We asked her how she pronounced it. She'stated K"air"a. Many people want to say K"ee"air a. I never realized that it was an Irish/Gaelic spelling. I also did not know that there was an Italian name, Cara,... we probably would have chose that'spelling over this spelling (her Italian heritage). A beautiful name regardless.
im 14 and my name is keara. pronounced "keer-ah" but no one ever gets it right. :(
my name is keara and i am thirteen. i have never met someone who spelled it like me. everybody mispronounces my name and my little brother always says "come on its not that hard!" i always think of the word dear when i spell my name like deara, then just add the a K at the beginning. lol i love my name its unique and i dont have to ever worry that'someone else in my class will have the name
My name is Keara, and I love it! It's unique, and even'though i've even had a teacher once call me "Korea." I wouldn't trade my name for any other.
Keara is a lovely and not often heard name. Ironically, my mother, who is from N. Ireland, thought that'spelling my name Keara, instead of the original Irish, would prevent it from being mispronounced. Americans always want to say Key-ara. I just tell them to pronounce the "ear" in K"ear"a, easy enough.
My six year old daughter's name is Keara. I don't care how anyone pronounces it because all of the options are beautiful. In fact depending on how I'm addressing her, whether it be disciplinary or affectionately, even I chance the pronunciation.
i quite like the names Keara even if every one spells and pronounces it wrong, i think that its a grand names and i am glad my name is keara
Keara is my 5 yr old daughters name. we pronounce it key-aira :-)
My daughter's middle name is Keara , and i've always pronounced it Ke -a -ra , basically I love how It'sounds and I liked the actor Keanu Reeves.

Keara is the name of my daughter. She loves her name and loves the fact that'she is the only Keara she knows. She likes the fact that her name is unique. People do mispronounce it, sometimes, though, but it doesn't really bother her.
I also beli've that my name,Keara is unique.I am the only one I know with this name. I find that my name is often mispelt and mispronounced.I love my name very much!
My name is Keara and I always get compliments on it, I love it. There is practically no one with It'so it makes it fun to have such a rare name plus the'spelling is different from the other various spellings there are.
people always say my name wrong. i tell them it looks like dear but people stilll say key ar ah its so annoying. but i love my name. ther's a barbie with the name'surprisingly but its spelled kira. haha
My name is Keara and I love it. I always feel so original at school and at work. I highly recommend this name :)
We named our daughter "Lyla" who is almost 2 months old! We just found out that the word "Lila" in German means purple which happens to be my favorite color. Unfortunately I know of 2 other girls born within the last few years with this name. So far no one has misprounced it.. but we did opt to use 'y' instead of 'i'.
My name is Keara and I love it. Ive met other Kearas but never with the'same spelling as me so its kinda cool to read peoples comments. Ive heard alot of different meaning for the name like dark haired, a saints name, firey and othe's that i cant think of. Its gets so anoying though when people pronounce my name like Key-ara which happens very often-lol i think almost everyone of my teache's has originally said my name like that. Anyway im very happy I have the name Keara I love being unique and being the only Keara in my school.
I love this name. It is my daughters name. She is 6 currently and LOVES her name. I grew up with less lovely name and hated it from the'start. I usually pronounce her name Keer-rah. but when upset will vary from key-ear-rah, to Key-are-rah ( when REALLY upset) lol. she doesn't mind any of the alternate ways of pronouncing it but of course prefers the correct way.
I like it because It's unique and means star in japanese :)
My name is Keara and I am 27 years old!! Growing up NOBODY had the name Keara...or "Kira" however you want to spell it, its the'same name. I LOVE my name and really felt unique growing up with this name and still do. I have yet to meet anybody with my spelling and don't know if Id really like if they had it LOL. The only I thing I would say about having my name is It's hard when uneducated people want to call me "Key-arra". There is no such thing as the name "key-arra"..SORRY. Never was. It's just a bunch of idiots prouncing "KEER-AH" wrong. Also, I Really hate it when I introduce myself and there like oh like "Keira Knightly"...I thought I was gonna lose my mind if heard that one more time, especially since Im older then'that girl..LOL. I do have to admit that It was weird hearing It'so much, especially after'she got big. I went from nobody knowing the name, to most people knowing the name'so it was weird. Other then'that Im proud of the Beautiful Irish name my mother gave me and I thank her for it! She was ahead of her time.
I love my name but most people if they read it prnounce it Ciera which gets REALLY anoying!
Hi, My name is Keara also! I LOVE my name'so much! It is the best name ever! My mom teases me and says she is going to change my name....THAT will NEVER happen! LOL I like my name because it was picked special for me, people always pronounce it wrong, but I just correct them. Yes it is annoying, but who cares! It is a unique and beautiful name for extra special people! I am one of those!
My name is keara in i love being a keara i know alot of keara's there are so many at my school but most of are names are spelled diffrently
My daughts name is Keara (7), pronounced K-ear-a, almost everyone gets it wrong, eventhough it is the easiest way to pronounce it. I have always loved the name, and my daughter does too.
Keara is the name of my daughter. However, I am at my wits end with people pronouncing it wrong. The proper way to spell it is Ciara, which is Irish. When pronounced correctly It'should sound like "keer-ra." People spell it Kiera, Keira, Kira, Kyra, etc....and It'should all be pronounced like above. However, I get alot of people who pronounce it "Key-erra" or "Key-ara." This drives me crazy, especially when someone elses daughter has the'same spelling but says it like that. They have no idea the origin, which means saint in Ireland. It comes from a saint's name. If it is spelled Keira or Kiera it means dark. Keara is the feminine form of Kearnin (not sure if I am spelling that one correctly.) Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. Jamie
My daughters name is keara and I don't care how anyone says it its beautiful no matter what way you say it
