My name is Leanna (Le-Anna) and a lot of my teache's say my name wrong. But It's fun having the name. My BFF always said my name was unique and that'she would trade me names anytime. AT first it was annoying when people got my name wrong, but now I don't really care.

My name is Leanna Kay. I love it. I pronounce it lee-A-nna. I get a lot of compliments on my name, and I have always been'the only person at school or work with it. Occasionally it gets mispronounced and misspelled, the most consistent is people saying 'Leanne' and the most extreme has been 'Leena'. When I was little it was annoying because there was never a 'Leanna' keychain at the beach, and few websIt's had an actual meaning for it. But over the years i've grown to love my name. It works now while I'm young, and will still sound great when I'm older.

When I was younger, I did not really like my name--I preferred to be called Pam instead of Pamela. But now I love my name and have a tough time getting people to call me Pamela. Not only does the name'sound beautiful phonetically (in Spanish and French), the'significance is also special "beloved", "sweetness", and "all honey". Oh, and it is also wonderful because few people share this same name.
