my son's name is Mackenzie WillI'm Stephen. We found that is was not a very common name in our community. It always nice to have a different name.

We are naming our little girl Talon Alana...the name came to us in a very odd way but ever'since I first heard it nothing else would do for our little girl...we are getting mixed reactions, alot of people say its too masculine or too aggressive but I don't care I LOVE IT!!!

We named our daughter Mackenzie. It'seemed like a mouthful at first, but It's grown on everyone. If our friends and family don't like it, at least they've been kind enough to keep it to the'selves! We don't like "Mack" for a nickname, though - so we'll just have to correct people until our daughter is old enough to decide for he'self what she wants to be called.

We live in the UK and have named our youngest son Jared (Evan for his middle name) everyone we have met have said how much they love the name and how they had not heard of it before. My Nieces wife actually has a nephew called it as well and apart from the celebs he's the only other Jared we know of. This is my name. It is an old name and as such it has many pronunciations, the native language of the person pronouncing it determines whether or not It's being mispronounced. We named our son Mackenzie in 2008, and it is such a nice strong wonderful name for a boy. Sad to see it being used as a girls' name but we still love it for boys. We call our Mackenzie "Mack" but when he was little his nickname was "Kenzie."
