My newborn is Naima. (Ny-ee-ma) we are in the UK where it is not used so much but research tells me it is popular in France, Sweden, Africa, the middle East, Malaysia etc etc so we figured it crosses cultures and would travel well. It's easily one of the prettiest names i've ever heard and it matches well with her'siblings.

My name is Naima, and I found out that the name comes from Saudi Arabia! I love my name, and i've heard so many people pronounce it wrong in so many different ways, that it became really funny. And my classmates always say my name in unison, when a substitute teacher or a new teacher gets stuck in attendance.
