We named our last born this in 2005. I found Ainsley in a name book and was hooked. We spelled it Ainslie because ley is at the end of our last name. Let me tell you this girl loves her name and always gets a great response. I think we may be responsible for it getting popular. There is an Ainslie street in Chicago look for it off the Kennedy Expressway. Also an Ainslie Lake in Canada and a tartan (Scottish plaid pattern) called Ainslie you can see online. Her'shortened family nick name is Ain-Z.
Quinn is my 3-year-old son's name and we all love it, especially how it flows with his middle name: Quinn Nathaniel. It's simple and strong with a great meaning ("intelligent" or "counsel") and yet still unique. We receive many compliments on it.
My daughter is 7, and her name is Quin. I used only one (N) because to me It'seemed more girly! I love her name, and love that chances of coming across another girl named Quin, are slim to none. However, my son named Logan, seems to be growing in popularity...

The misspelling of my name (Abigail, case ya haven't guessed)that i get the most is Abegail. I don't know why, It's not that hard to spell. I go by Abi cause It's different, and if people call me Gail both my Mum and me get mad. ^^
My Name is Quenzette! Which I don't like. I have people to call me Quen for short and that's the name that I go by. To me it means happy and upbeat & bubbly! That's me!I love it! Our son is nicknamed Quinn because he is a "fifth" (just as a son who is a third could be nicknamed Trey). My husband and I have some Irish background so that makes it appropriate as well. Besides, It's cool and classy without being too cutesy or trendy. It'suits him and we love it!
My son was born in New Zealand we live in AUstralia and we named him Quinn, there are no othe's here that we know of.Great name.

His name'seems to me that it will be a very fitting name for him even in his adult years. We dont know anyone with the name Quinn except as a surname. I have heard of people who know other people in the area with it but its not like other names where there will be 2 or 3 of them in the'same class.
My daughter is named Quinn. I have always thought it was more suited for a girl. It'sounds feminine. We get lots of compliments on it. As for the comment about how we need to stop stealing boy names...get over it.
my name is Quinn!!! I love my name but I think it is a very feminine name!! I love how unique my name is but i have gone to school and been in the'same class as 2 other Quinn's who were males. In fact i know many other Quinns but they are all male except me:)!
Quinn is unique enough not to be heard everyday, with a strong, masculine yet sensitive feel to it.
I had never heard the name "Quinn" before until we attended a family members wedding this past April She was the little flower girl and every bit as precious as the name itself! We named our daugther Abigail. I love all the different nick-names we have for her My mother (her grandmother) calls her Abigail, we mainly call her Abby. Until I read the other comments above, I never realized that Abigail could be spelled incorrectly. We haven't had a problem w/ spelling or pronouncing it. All though, I am asked to spell it by our Dr's office sometimes, just because of the other ways it could be spelled, not because I have an irregular way of spelling it.
My name is Quinn and I'm 10 years old. I love my name and my parents actually found it in the credits of a movie. I think It's pretty cool how little people are named Quinn. Although, and I think other people might have this problem too, I can never find keychains and stuff with my name on it. But that's okay because there is no one else in my school named Quinn so i don't have to be called Quinn K-S or something. I feel very special to have this name.

I am pregnant and due on Oct. 3rd and plan on using the name Quinn Marie. I already have a son named Eli and we love short and to the point names that are easy to spell. Why make a child's life any harder then it has to be...lol. I do think the name can go both ways but is cuter as a girls name. We actually got the name from Glee!
We named our daughter Quinn in 2019. Now I'm afraid that, with the head cheerleader on Glee being named Quinn, it will get too popular. Oh well, still love the name. And my Mom says that it fits her perfectly!
I'm NOT CRAZY ABOUT THE NAME BUT THAT IS JUST ME. BUT THERE R SOME PEOPLE WHO LIKE IT IS OKAY NAME BUT I WOULD NOT NAME MY KID THAT
I have recently begun to like this name for a boy. However, I don't want our future son to have a unisex name.
I love the name! Considering naming my baby girl Quinn.
I love the name, but the first time I saw it, I saw It'spelled Quinne. I was disappointed It's been gaining popularity, I like unique, not out-there names. It'seems the more popular a name, the more likely you are to have people with the'same name that are just not good representations. Like Madison. Ugh. I'm having a boy though, so I have to wait, and hope it doesn't get more popular. :(
I named our daughter Quinnlyn - I knew what her name was going to be before I was even pregnant with her. We call her Quinn for short. I think it is a beautiful name and it fits her perfectly!

My son was born May 31, 2017 and his name is Quinn. As someone else said, we sometimes call him Quinny. Everyone thinks it is a great name and when strangers hear me calling him, they often comment. One pregnant woman said that'she liked It'so much she might consider it for her child if born a boy. It is a strong Irish name and not a common name that everyone is using. I hope that it never is. I have never wanted to give my son a "popular name" that 3 othe's in a classroon might have. I have met some other Quinns in the last few years and I'must say all of these boys seem mischievious.
We recently named our son Elwood, after using the name for a few days it has already become familiar - I hope that as he grows up he appreciates the rarity, and classic nature of his name. It's certainly not for everyone, but in comparison to other now commonly used names that are currently en vogue - I think its a super choice!

Thinking of calling my baby Xavier if it turns out to be a boy.... It's a great name, pretty unique (in Australia at least) and I just think it has a great sound to it! Definitely pronouncing it "zay-vier", not "ex-a-vier".
My best friend's dad is named Quinn. Just Quinn, not Quinlan or anything. he's a nice guy, in his 50s, and the name is really good and masculine and I like names that'start with Q or Z. I bet It's more popular now than when he was a baby but I can see why b/c It's kinda different w/o being lame.

I'm a guy Quinn, and I think It's not really that fitting for a girl. I'm 10 and if you name a girl Quinn, use a different variant like Qwyn or Quin. Quinn was originally a boyβ€οΈs name.

We named our son Quinton and its a strong name. He doesn't even flinch when he has blood drawn or a shot. To the person who commented Aprilof 08...the reason you don't like it is because you have self-esteem issues yourself and prob were beat up in school!
we named our daughter quinn in 1993 and didn't hear of another female until recently...unique, wise, gaelic...often complimented as a name
Love the name...for a boy. The only reason very young trailer park livin' moms are loving names like Jaden/Jayden (etc.) and Quinn for a girl = Britney Spears' son Jaden and the teeny show starring her young sister, Zoey 101 ("Quinn" was a female character). Outside of the teen pregnancy brigade, Quinn works for me as a male name OR a unisex name in a book.
I prefer Quinn as a girl's name. However, I do like the name. Short, easy to say, easy to spell, and not TOO popular.

My son, Quinn (and yes, that's his given name), celebrated his 10th birthday yesterday. In all these years, we've only met one other little boy named Quinn (whose given name is actually Quentin). I, too, love this name and find it to be a strong man's name.

We just had a baby girl and named her Abigail but call her Abbie so she can go by either when she's older. Abigail in the boardroom, Abbie to her friends and family, whatever'she feels like. Although at the moment, she gets Abby Cadaby (from Seseme Street) and Abs alot. I think It's a gorgeous name and we don't know any other Abby's so I think It's fairly unique without being too unusual (so hopefully no name teasing). And we loved the meaning!

We are due in July and we are naming our son "Xander" with an "ex" sound not a "Z" sound...it only makes sense to either'spell it "Xander" and pronounce it that way or spell it with a "z" and pronounce it "zander"...people need to realize that if it is spelled with an "x" vs. a "z" then It'should be pronounced that way. Oh, and it IS a nickname for Alexander...

we named our Daughter Quinn Marrie in 2018 befor it became popular. I loved the name for years
My Quinn Nathaniel was born 1/09, our last name'starts with T so he will always be my little Q.T. Pie. He would have been named Quinn even if he turned out to be a she.
It's just an ugly sounding name:( it does flow out of your mouth well.
My maiden name is Quinn and we are looking at naming our first child, a boy, Quinn. I really want to continue the tradition of a mother's maiden name being used in our family.
It is a boys name. It is completely unfeminine and trendy. I pity girls named Quinn. They are saddled with a boys name and the few I have met have been very plain. I'm glad I have better taste in names.
Great name for a little boy, I named my first born, something uncomman, but not too crazy.
I don't personally know anyone with this name, but I absolutely LOVE this name for a girl! I don't think It's too masculine. I love it because It'starts with a "Q"! I love for a girls FIRST name to start with this letter!
My son is named Quinn...my wife and I both love it...
the best name that i've ever heared is my name and I'm proud to say that i am Genevi've. But let me tell u a short story about my name and how come that i did like it. . 1 of my Business law professor pronounced my name as Gene-vie-ve in front of the entire class, they laugh at me but guess what i feltβ€οΈβ€οΈ I'm still happy and not mad hahahaha,.. mybe bcoz from that time on it made me realize the real essence of being Genevi've and how proud i am of my mom that'she gave me a name like that..
We thought it would be a relatively uncommon name and we liked It'so we gave it to our son in 2016. We were a little disappointed to find out that EVERYONE knows an Aidan, a Jaden, or a Caden.
It is the name of my first granddaughter-now 3 months old! I LOVE her name!
My name is Quinn. I am 25 and over the years have received many compliments about my name. I has also allowed me to feel very individualistic having a name, that when I was growing up was very rarely heard; though I beli've it to be considerably more common today. Moreover, I find that people from foreign countries, people understanding little english and/or people with heavy acsents have great difficulty pronouncing my name. It is often confussed with "Queen", which I have come to ter's with and now jokingly go along with it on occasion. All and all I love my name. Don't really want other people having it, but then again, what is a name reallyβ€οΈ Is it that importantβ€οΈ I don't knowβ€οΈ Do youβ€οΈ
I love the name Quinn for a girl. It means queen. How perfect! And the name looks so pretty and girly.
I am having my 4th baby and if it is a boy I want to use Quinn. My 3 girls all have girly-girl names and I would never think of using a "boy name" for a girl. Pretty soon there will be no real "manly names" left for the poor little boys!
Independent, creative, smart, unique. I chose this name for my daughter. We've only ever met one other female Quinn.
Everyone thinks it is a great name, especially for our little guy who is strong willed and seems "wise" beyond his years.
You named you girl Camden, You're just n't right in'the head if yo think It's feminine sounding
My mom's maiden name is Quinn and I want to name my oldest daughter It'someday. Showing love for my Irish heritage :)
I really love the name Quinn! My husband & I are trying to have a baby & if we have a little girl I will name her Quinn! SO cute :)
My daughter is expecting in June and she will be named Quinn Nicolette
I named my son Quinn becuase of its meaning...It means wise! I love the name and I hope as he gets old enough to determine wither he likes it or not, that he will like his name.
i love my name Quinn but its very disapointing i can never find necklaces or purses with my name or even'the first letter of my name :c weep weep sobb sobb but i still love my name anyway
i live in england and have named my baby girl quinn. It's very uncommon here and people always think It's her'surname or she's a boy. we love It'since it matches her personality: strong and unique.
My new granddaughter is named Quinn (pronounced "Kwinn".) Beautiful name for a girl-so feminine. I love it.
Our 8 month old daughter is named Quinn. We love it because It's sophisticated for an adult but also unique and cute for a little girl. I actually don't like Quinn for a boy, I think It's too feminine sounding but that is just my opinion!
My name is Quinnlyn, but most people call me Quinn. i've found that this name is more popular amoungst males, but I'm female. I love my name because It's unique! For me, It's pronouced like "Kwin" or my full name would sound like "kwin-lyn". Most people spell my (nickname, Quinn) with only one 'n' not Quinn, but Quin. That's frustrating...especially when you have to keep re-ordering Checks because they spell the name wrong.
My 2 year old daughter is called Quinn Gracie and I love it! I think It'sounds very feminine but strong. I originally wanted NI'mh but after its recent boost in popularity I'm glad I was persuaded to go with Quinn. I often receive comments on how nice her name is and how unusual but not too far out.
I think this is a boy name. I know a little boy named Quinn, It's a cool name.
I think the name Quinn is strong and beautiful. The letter Q for a mans name is not as manly as people think. From the way you write your name Q is a very feminine letter. Quinn is a powerful name for a woman especially in our society today. Men with the name Quincy or Quint are in for hard time adjusting. People don't consider that Quinn for a womans name encourages power, wisdom, as well as stren'th. My daughters name will empower her to become a leader. Girly names are nothing more then a society's outlook on woman. I am a man BTW and love the fact my daughter has a unique way.
We I did had meet a lot of Odalys and odalis, one even with the'same last name and the first 5 numbers of ssn weird. I love it even when'they procounced wrong lol but It's ok I don't mind lol
Quinn is a boy name. I hate that people are using it for girls. Same with the name Ryan. Girls are so much easier to name and there plenty of nice girl names to choose from. Leave the boy names for the boys people!!
Hey my name is Quinn, I am 12 years old and it is really difficult to get mugs and Key rings with my name on them and the only reason why I do have t shirts and neck lasses with my name on is when my mum had it personalised e.g they had to make it there and then , it wasn't already made .I am female and I do get the problem that people assume that I am a boy but that is only when'they haven't seen me. For younger children, of course the are going to spell it wrong e.g my little brother thinks it has a w in and some people only put one n too but I don't mind . I find that most of the time people mis-pronounce my name and think I am called Gwin. Though it is understandable when I have a sister called Gwenny ( Gwen) . I was the only Quinn in my first school and still am in middle school , which I kinda like cuz it is hard to get your stuff lost or muddled up if there is only one of u in the'school.I have never come across another person in my area called Quinn not even a boy.Which again I quite like cuz it gives you a bit more individuality . I have however, come across One person with the'surname called Quinn e.g Ray Quinn the'singer. I guess I get a bit annoyed when people say that Quinn is a boys name. This is because,, yes it can be both bos and girls name but my personal view is that you call the girl Quinn and the boy Quinntin. so that is how I feel about my name and I love It , It's different and unusual too. my parents named me after the tv series Doctor Quinn it is a fairly old fI'm . hope this help anyone wishing to call a pet or new family member by this name xxx
We named our son Quinn in 2015 because it was easy to pronouce, easy to spell, and not that common but also not rare (as in kooky). I'm not so fond of the nickname "Quinny" although sometimes people call him that. I prefer "Q"--only one syllable and he likes it too. Quinn does have a strong masculine sound to it as othe's have mentioned, which I like. He is living up to his name!
We named our daughter Raina and it fits her perfectly..we love the name and other people are always commenting on what a beautiful name it is.
I'm 27 and female and named Quinn and i've had to deal with people saying It's a boys name my whole life... from what i've heard It's a girl's name traditionally in ireland and Quentin is the boy's version but that was a long time ago and in modern days the name Quinn is used for either gender. I love my name now but it is frustrating when people constantly think It's my last name or the try to call me Gwen or Queen or Quincy....
Ummm I neva knew someone was named wheeler...... But whatever. I won't judge you.
Quinn is going to be my daughters name. due April19th 2020.
My daughters name is Quinn. It fits her perfectly.
my name is quinn. sure i love my name. i dont know what to think about it tho.
Quinn. It means Chief, and is a traditional irish surname that has done the cross over to first names. A strong boy's name, but also quite common among girls. My son Quinn had a girl in his preschool class with the'same name! Go figure :)
I just had my fifth daughter and we named her Quinn Peyton. I have always loved this name and I thought it was perfect since she was the 5th born and the prefix quin means 5. Have had many many compliments!
the name Quinten rules i think that my name is awsome because not very many people has that name
i only know one quinn...she is a beautiful little girl, so my "take" on the name is that It's feminine. it does't have a masculine sound to my ear. It'sounds very soft. reminds me of lynn, brynn, cyn[thia], wynn, not to mention the innumerable girls names that end in -lyn.
I named my daughter Quinn Beatrice in 2021. I am still so happy to have named her that and it was accepted by her dad and I almost instantly. We get complimented constantly!
We are thinking of naming our third baby Madilyn Kae. She would also go by Madi.
OMG.... if i ever have a daughter her name'll be Quinn
I named my son "Quinn". I think it is a very stong male name. I have begun hearing it more frequently to name females, odd I think, always thinking the parent spelled "Gwen" wrong or something. I also have a unisex name, "Kerry", so hopefully he doesn't take too much flack for it groing up!!
My name is Quinn. I was born in 2003. I love the name but i am sad that is becoming more popular [i didnt meet another named Quinn until i was 13 -- and now i hear it quite often]. Its a beautiful name. but be prepared to have people screw it up your whole life. i get called Gwen, Lynn, [i even had mail sent to a "Megan Grace" once], or people call me by my last name [Grace] all the time.
My daughter was born in May and her name is Quinn Marie (middle name was a family name passed down for generations so I did not have a lot of control on that one). Everyone loves it and I get so many compliments on it. It is different enough to be unique, but not so different that it makes people go "what were they thinking".
love it! i think this is a great name for somebody. its very uncommon and i would definatly choose this name for my girl!
We named our daughter Quinn as well and I love it. It's spunky and cute, in our opinion!
love it. want to call our daughter due in dec quinn but my partner hates it! It's the only name I really love at the moment. Oh well...
We named our son Quinn, he was born on Jan 21, 2019. i've heard the "girls name" thing too, but I think It's due to that kids show on TV, that has a girl named Quinn in it.
My granddaughter's name is Quinn. We all love the name and it fits her personality- beautiful and unique.
We just named our beautiful baby girl Kaleigh. Although we know the correct way to pronounce it is KAY-LEE, we chose to pronounce it KALI or CALI (like the'short form of California). We love it and get compliments all the time already!!!
LOVE THE NAME QUINN!!! We are expecting our first baby girl April2014 and I want to name her Quinn but I need to work on my husband a little more ;) never have heard this name till before I knew we were expecting at the doctors office a mom called her little girl over named Quinn! I have been in love w / the name'since!!
We are due to have a baby girl in May or June 2020 and are naming her Fiona Jane. We are Americans living in Hungary. It doesn't matter who we tell the name to, we always get a strange reaction. Americans think of The'shrek movies, which is irrelevant because we chose this name over 5 years ago before there were Shrek movies. Hungarians have never heard of it before. I love the name. I have lived in England and have met several people called Fiona, all of which I have good memories of. I can't wait to meet my own little Fiona!
My son Jessiah's middle name is Quinn. We both love it.
Quinn is historically a boy's name that was hijacked by girls. It is a great name, strong unique and Irish!
Our daughter's name is Quinnlyn (Quinny for short). Quinnlyn Julia- she is our world...with a super cute name!
Although I am a 14 yr old boy who is already looking forward to raising children and having family, I often'think of which baby names I particularly like. Quinn is one the really stood out for me. A masculine and sweet name for a male, and somewhat wholesome. I look forward to the day when I (hopefully) get to name my little boy Quinn.
My son is named Quin yes one n too. He was born on May 28, 2019. We love the name even'though people always want to call him Quinny. (ugh). I think It's perfect for him.
Our daughter's name is Quinn. Awesome! And she won't have 3 othe's with the'same name in her class!
we have a tiny toy poodle and finally heard the most perfect name after looking and looking, its KAYLEIGH CAIN yes shes a girl, and sooooo sweet everybody loves it! great name and the other'spelling is as pretty written as the name (CEILIDH) awesome rightβ€οΈ
