My name is Sabina I am from bosnia ...didn't realise that'so many people from all around the world had the'same name! Not sure where it originates from but like many I haven't met many Sabina's in my lifetime outside my country. I now live in Australia and people tend to pronounce it correctly.

the way people will stop calling you "seen" or "saan" is to utilise the fada in the name over the "a". i spell my name'seın, the fada on the "a" accents it. making the pronunciation "shawn" without the accent it is actually pronounced "seen" so those people are technically correct in calling you so.

My name is Sabina! And I love it!!! Yes, when people first read my name they say Sabrina. I suppose due to the popular movie with Audrey Hepburn by the'same title. But once I correct someone, I get the'same response "oh sorry, that is a beautiful name". I was born in Poland.
