Sal meaning

My name is Sal and I am Female. I love my name for the reason that on paper everyone assumes that I am male. They are very surprised also on the phone and many times people get confused pronouncing it. I don't know why must be to easy for them.

Folks seem to mis-pronounce it often. Too little sylables for them to comprehend. My real name of Salvador is never a problem as It'sounds out more so you know what you are saying. Common misses are Saul or S'all

My first association is Salvatore "Sal" Vulcano on the'show Impractical Jokers. he's a cool guy, and Sal is a cool name.

It Isn't Kahn himself that is the porblem. It is the members of the public who claim that his Youtube videos are the future of education.Sorry, but videos and audio recordings like his have been used as accessories to education for decades. He is providing a good resource, and should be commended for it, but the use of videos like his as a primary source of education is not supported by educational research. i've reviewed some of his physics videos. It's all about the equations and definitions it goes completely against the results of 40+ years of physics education research.Great for review, great as a component of learning after fundamentals have been established and (in physics anyway) you know where the equations come from, but it is not a replacement or a sign of the future of education'. It's another in a growing body of decent secondary sources for education.

I think Sal is a great name because It's very simple yet has an air of classic cool. I always think of the character from Kerouac's On The Road.

I'm always amazed by people who seem to have never heard the name'sal. I'mean, It's only 3 letters and yet they look like they are struggling to pronounce it until I say, My name is Sal, rhymes with pal." After that, they never forget nor mispronounce it. If your name is Sal, try it.
