HI'my name is Taj and I'must say that that's one of the best decisions my dad made in choosing the name for me... I can't express how much i love it but the problem is that its mispronounced and mispelt so often. i've had people called me Tag, Tage, Tash and many othe's as well as the'spelling.... In high school i had this teacher who spoke with a lisp and couldn't call out my name and gave me a totally new name that I'm still called today.. lol
Here in Slovenia, where I live, Taj is a pretty common name for a boy, and Taja for a girl. But It's pronounced as Ty for a boy and Tya for a girl.

My name is Taj and I'm 13, male, and idk I feels weird to hear my friends say my name but other then'that I love it my family calls me tj for short
My name is Taj. I pronounce it as you wolud say the word Tag or Tab but with a j. I do not pronounce it like Tahj or the Taj Mahal. Growing up i had a really mean pre-k teacher who called me Tahj and i was afraid to correct her. Since then and even'through high school, everyone says my name as Tahj. Only my family says it correctly. Well in actuallity my name is really Taj-Domayn but everyone call me Taj for short. My mother added the Domayn because she felt it was too short. I have met a girl and her name was Taj-Felicia and I'met a boy with the name Taj-Malick. I guess people with the name Taj add something else to it. I love my name mainly because people always remember my name out of everyone elses, mainly because its easy to say and that it is rare.
About to name our son Taj. We live in Southern California and surfing is a huge influence (as in Taj Burrow), but I personally just like the'sound of it and doubt he'll be sharing it with too many othe's growing up. I hope he likes it too!
My grandson is Taj. I love the name, and he is so cute. He is friendly, loving and just adorable. I think the name'suits him well.
My daughter wanted to name her'son Taj but her husband insisted that it was a Muslim name for a girl, so they named him Sartaj with Taj for a nic name. Sar means head, Taj means crown. We pronounce it tahj with the a sound from awesome

We are Chinese and we named our younger'son Kai. The reason we gave him this name was because his Chinese name is "KaI'ming". We absolutely love the name because It'sounds cool and is different. It means "Happiness" in Chinese. We were actually surprised that there were other people (Caucasians)named "Kai" in our area, and It'seems to be getting more popular, which my wife doesn't like.
My name is Taaj (rhymes with dodge). I am a woman which makes it a little more inter'sting. The only other woman I know of the famous belly dancer. People always mis-pronounce my name. I have met maybe 3 or 4 GUYS with my name, but none of them spell it like I do.
My name is Taj.. But I'm definitely a girl.. However I love my name!!
