Oh, so we Urbans are practically extinct since the 1930's❤️ ;-) So that's why I rarely get to meet someone with the'same name as me ... It's a good name, kind of special, but sounding good. Once people got your name right, they'll never forget it ;-)

My litle boy was born in 2018 and we called him Urban. I love it and love that everyone else isnt called the'same thing. Only problem is alot of people mistake it for herbert!!

my father and i are both named urban he was born in 1912 i in 1960 i have never met another urban like many othe's most mistake it for either erwin or ervin its pronounced er-bun my grandmother was catholic so with 8 popes being named urban she thought it was different yet religous my self i like the name its not another bob,bill or joe!

My grandad's name was Urban. Great guy, he lived in southern Indiana where there were several Urbans. My son named his son Urban. Unusual name, but will probably gain popularity as similiar names have, Ethan, Aaron, Logan, etc
