My daughter was born in 2020. Her name is Agatha Rose. It is such a unique, beautiful name. I get many many compliments because it is such a vintage and regal name. "Aggie" is her nickname, the name of my first doll 35 years ago. Agatha is a name that will stand out on a resume, no doubt about that. I am so proud to say her name.

Agatha(Ag-a-th-a) is a marvelous and beautiful name. I love that's so unique. I also have a unique name, R❤️n, so It's nice to meet someone with a name like mine. FYI I am writing this from my friend Agatha's account. She is awesome so you should NOT associate this name with witchcraft.

My name is Agatha and I can't forgive my parents for giving me such a name. Everybody always expects an old, ugly spinster in a grey cardigan. And I'm not. There is no nice way to pronounce it. It'sounds harsh and ugly.

Agatha is such a distinguished, strong and elegant name that is well known but under'sed. I think people are unable to really see this name with fresh eyes and are therefore overlooking a real gem of a name. I will call my daughter Agatha if I am so blessed to have a girl.

Seems to be name that looks fresh again on a little girl and changes old perceptions. It is an elegant, strong, feminine, fun, spunky, smart sounding name.

Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller, better known as Dame Agatha Christie the celebrated English crime novelist and creator of Miss Jane Marple and Monsieur Hercule Poirot, was born in 1890 to an American father, Frederick Alvah Miller, who died when she was very young, and an English mother, Clarissa Margaret Boehmer. The name was moderately popular back then but is practically unknown today. Though Dame Agatha Christie was a great writer prior to her death in 1988 (she was twice-married and secondly in 1930 to the archaeologist Sir Max Mallowan following divorce from first husband Col. Archibald Christie in the late 1920s), It's her first name I can't stand - It's totally ugly and otherwise sounds too much like an evil old witch.

I have this name, and it was challenging growing up with it in the mid-twentieth century, when everyone else was Laura or Karen or Jennifer. I'm so glad that people are much more adventurous now in their naming, reaching back for the elegant, strong, inter'sting names of previous times. As an adult, It's definitely fun to have a "different" name. I love the'sound and history of my name now, although I guess It's an acquired taste. I am confident it will be revived over the coming years and its "witch" associations will either fade or be embraced by the less conventional, less timid parents of the 21st century!
