This is my daughter's name too. I changed the'spelling to Kaia as I got tired of her nursery teacher mispronouncing her name. At least with this spelling they ask how to say it! I have heard of one other Kaia in my neighbourhood. Everyone will always remember her and she will never be called Kaia H or Kaia 2, she'll always be the only one!
Just watch Supernatural Season 11, if you turn on close captions you will solve both issues of spelling and pronunciation. Done. I love the name, and was curious about how popular it may have become because of the'show. I found they probably used it because of It's growing popularity.

I love the name Amara I first heard it in the american dubb of Sailor Moon.My favorite scouts name was Amara. Since they didn't use her Japanese name, they took her planet, which is Uranus, and Amaranth is related to it and through some kind of Greek mythology, and shortened it to Amara. I use that name as my pen name'screen name, and everything else. When I turn eighteen, I'm considering changing my name to Amara.
