My name is anais and I love it, some rude boy's say "Jeez Anaeess" So rude! I pronounce it ANa-ezz. Overall (without the teasing) 5 STARS
I love this name! I think it is such a beautiful name! If I am blessed with a child, and it is a girl; that's what I want to name her.
my name is Anáis and I don't like it, no one ever knows how to pronounce it and i spent my life correcting them! Its "AHN EYE EESE"- not ANAY. why my parents couldn't have just picked annie ill never know!
Just like all the others who commented my name is also anais. I hated it growing up but now i love it. Many of my teachers had problems pronouncing it but its very unique and ive grown to like it. I always get compliments on how pretty it is.
My name is Anais I'm from Townsville Australia my friend pronouses it a difrent way people get your name wrong. My mum and dad thinks It's a lovely name I do to there's a lot of people that has the name Anais sorry if it was a wast of time reading this thank you.☺️Im 7
my middle name is anaïs [pernounced anna-ees] && i love it. i wish it was my first name though. and ya when i tell people or spell it out somewhere the read and say it wrong. ohh well.
I have a ten year old daughter called Anais we say uh-nay or An-ay. Have a lot of probs wiv this name. I didn't want to prounounce it the french way and I didn't spell it that way either. If honest I think people just think I'm not very well educated and say it wrong. Its a beautiful name but be warned you will have a life time of correcting people how ever you choose to say it.
My daughter is named Anais. (pronounced Anay to rhyme with 'away'). If it is pronounced anay-is it must have a diacritical mark over the i. In French the accent tr❤️ma ❤️ (dier'sis or umlaut) can be on an E, I, or U. It is used when'two vowels are next to each other and both must be pronounced, e.g., na❤️ve, Sa❤️
My name is Anais and I love it! I didn't think much of it when I was younger, then when I realized no one had a name like mine, I hated it. I'm 18 now and I've come to appreciate the fact that I'm not a Brittnay or Asia or some other cookie cutter name. And my name is also pronouced ahn-i-ees
I love my name Anais and i always thanks my mom for my name . I just loved my name.
My name is also Anais and i really think its beautiful. It has a lovely meaning and a very nice sound. I originally lived in the US and always had to correct people about the pronunciation of my name, but now i live in Mexico and everyone here naturally say it correctly and they all say how beautiful my name is. I wouldn't change it for anything.
My two middle names are Anais and Ambrose, Anais being the first. My parents always pronounced it ANAY, as when they found the name it was French, and there is no S in the French alphabet (so I'm told). I think that pronunciation is the prettiest, but when I've found other Anais' online, none of them have ever said it my way. I might use it for my daughter, in which case it would be ANAY.
i love the name its on my short list if I have a girl.
dis is my name n people be callin me anaise n ana-is but i still lik it
It's a gorgeous name when pronounced correctly. My mind is kind of blown at how many people think It's pronounced "Annay". I suppose I can understand the appeal of the'softer'sound, but maybe spell it differently to avoid confusion/embarrassment❤️
My name is Anaiz, it is not spelled with an "s" which I actually like, but people still have trouble pronouncing it right.
My name is Anais and sometimes people make fun of it and say ana ees when it is anay I think they do it on purpose but I love my name
It's a beautiful beautiful name- Especially if combined with a "softer'sounding middle name like Rose. I absolutely love it!
my name is Anaïs too. I really like it because its unique. No one can say my name, especcialy teachers, but i dont really care. I say my name 'ah-nah-ess' and I have two dots on the i-ï. I have to thank my sister for this name.. i love it
+We named our daughter Anais-with a double dot (diacritic) over the i. We pronounce it Anna-eese. Some people have trouble with it but I don't care-they will learn and I think it is a beautiful name.
My name is Anais. I love my name even if i do have to correct people all the time. It's a unique name not everyone has it, like a Carmen, Maria, Jennifer, Jessica etc. We should learn how to appreciate our beautiful name because not everyone has it!
My name is Anais I love it It's a very unusual name but I like it and so does my family I hate it when people don't get my name correct cuz then people then have a joke about it a teacher didn't know how to say my name for a few days It'stook but it didn't get funny anymore so they left it then don't be ashamed there's many ways of spelling and saying Anais I'm happy to be called Anais (A-Ney) because even'though people get it wrong does not mean that you can't be happy and be you all my life It's happened with doctors, nurses, Teache's and sometimes friends. Anais is an amazing name you would be lucky to be called Anais or know anyone called Anais. Sorry if you waisted your time reading this if You'read it. Sorrr if you thought it was a waist of your time
My name is Ana❤️s (an-na-he's) i live in south africa and most people can not pronounce my name right . thy pronounce it anay. It is not an ordenary name , but i beli've my name is special x
I named my second daughter Anais, pronounced AH NIGH ISS, and we also get many complements for this name. But many people mispronounce it if they read it before being told the pronounciation. I think it is a beautiful name!
My name is Anais and I absolutely love it! The worst time someone mispronounced name was in school someone said Anis. But my name is pronounced Ah-ni-is
My name is Anaïs and i really like it! I used to hate to have to correct people, but now I really don't mind. Its kind of second nature now. But I wouldn't really want a normal name because then I'm not unique. My name is pronounced on-uh-ees
My name is Anais not Anaise. It's very rare to hear someone say it right. It's AH-NAH-EES not AH-NAHY-is. God! I like uncommon names, but not mine.
