If I ever have a bay girl Annabel is one of my choices. It has been a favourite name'since childhood. It was fairly popular here in the UK in the 80s but not so common now.
i love my name! its so original, and makes me feel unique every day. the'spelling thing can be annoying though, but i was named after the tennis player annabel croft, and my name is spelt the'same, so if people know that, they tend to spell it the'same way. its nice to know there aren't many people with the'same name.
My second daughter's name and I love her and her name! She is a real Annabel.
My daughter's name's Annabel Leigh. I loved Edgar Allan Poe's Annabel Lee, so with the unique spelling, I'made my own daughterly lovely one. lol
Everybody seems to spell it wrong! It is so annoying! I get Annabell, Annabelle, Annabele, Anabelle, Anabel - the list is ENDLESS!! Then when I'meet new people they always call me something else like Amanda, Abbigail, Amber! Grr - my name is ANNABEL!!!
This name annoys me for some reason. And whenever I picture the name I picture some dorky chick or some girl in the 1800's. Its not really that pretty, I don't know why It's so popular. Its kind of like those other over'sed annoying plain names like Sarah, Mary, Anna/Anne, Grace, etc.....
