I am a Dante and I have always gotten great responses regarding my name. In fact, all of my names begin with D with my middle name being Damien. It's a strong and masculine name that has a touch of softness to it.

Always hated my birth name and tried to squI'm away from it with nicknames, but my sister's just officially changed he's so I thought I would too. We made a day of picking out baby names for my adult self and kept coming back to Dante. I like that It's masculine, but soft when you say it, because that's how I'm trying to be. And i've wished I had an actual Italian name for years. n't used to it yet but I'm excited to be. -- Dante :)
