my name is Jess short version of Jessika, i hate the name Jessika although i was always the oldest in my classes which means i had the name first but there were always two or three Jessica's. Mine is spelt with a K but you dont hear the K so i have to remind people. Don't name your kid Jessica every girl has that name.

Jess is good! But Jessica has to be one of my least favorite names. I hate that name with a passion. Because I was given'that name. There are always something like 5 other people with that name wherever you go. I hate the'sound of it. It's very common. I wish it wasn't so popular, I wish my parents didn't name me Jessica

My given birth name is "Jess". I love my name and feel that it is a strong name, however, I absolutely hate being called "Jesse"! That's not my name! Also, too many girls named Jessica are going with a short version and calling the'selves "Jess". That'seems to take away from the'stren'th of the male name Jess.
