Technically, this site has it wrong. God did not sink the ship that Jonah was on. Jonah jumped off the ship because he knew that God was letting him know Jonah couldn't hide from His eyes. Jonah jumped into the ocean to save the other sailors. But, anyway, I love the name Jonah. I plan on naming giving the first boy I have (in the distant future :) ) the name Jonah. :)
