My name is K-e-l-c-e-y and as a kid it really irked me that everyone spelled it with an s, but now that I'm 23 I realize my mama spelled my name wrong (It's the Norwegian spelling vs. the traditional Irish spelling). In the 80's the name was unheard of but in the 90's it got very popular. I get compliments for my name/the'spelling all the time. My only complaint about my name is southern people usually pronounce the name as "Kelt-zee." That t'aint my name! Oh and p.s. in my generation there were a bunch of Amber's but I never met another Kelsey until college.
Yes, I'm Kaylah as well. Like othe's with the'same spelling I'm often left spelling my name out as kayla with an "H". Although,they usually put the "h" in the wrong place (kayhla). Otherwise, the name is great, i love it and othe's always compliment me .
