My name is kelsea but most of my friends write it like "kelsey" "kelsi" keilsee❤️" "kelsey" and " kellssee❤️❤️❤️" but i have neaver met anyone else who spells it as kelsea
We named our daughter Khia. Everyone we meet loves her name but most people have trouble spelling it - we get Kia or Kiah etc. We also have the Kee-ya problem when people say her name. We had the name picked before she was born but had no idea how to spell it and someone suggested Khia so that is where we got it from.

I undersand so many of the experiences you have all had. I have been called both 'Kels-ee-uh' and 'Kels-ah' - usually by teache's! Many of my aunts and uncles spell my name with a 'y', and I'm done correcting them. Besides, I have a large family. Don't get me wrong - I love the name. I just find it easier to not correct everyone all the time. I have had the chance to meet one fellow 'Kelsea' - she is about five or six years younger than me, and attended the'same elementary school. As such, I daresay she's had fewer teache's mispronouncing her name :)
