It's pronounced LEE-Nuh. Some people get it confused with Lee-anna. It is a very rare name.
Hi, my name is Leana and I just happened to stumble upon this and would like to say that It's nice to know that their is at least someone else out there with this name. Mostly because i've never meet someone with the'same name. And many people spell my name and pronounce it wrong as well. They always spell it as Leanna and pronounce it as "Lee-Nah" or "Lee-anna" It's pronounced as "lee-ah-na".
its pronounced Lee-ah-na - its been my name my entire life - and it is not -i repeat not diana deeana leah lena lee-anne or lee-anna - and if u run across the'spelling - it has one N - not 2 - we arnt spelling it wrong :D
I cannot stand it when people pronounce it lee-nah or lee-anna. If it was either of those, it would be spelt lena or leanna/leeanna - Leana clearly has one 'n', which means there is no emphasis on any letters and should be pronounced accordingly Now that's out of the road, just wanted to say that i've received alot of compliments from people about my name - probably because it is so rare, which is a good thing if You're looking for a unique baby name
