My daughter Liberty was born in 2012. We met a 93 old woman named Liberty at a Cracker Barrel one year, 23 year old woman at an Avett Brothe's concert in Greenville, and a young lady who was in my best friends family who was 16.
This was my aunt's name -- afte the infamous Wallis Simpson -- and she totally hated it. She'said the only good thing about it was that when she went for interviews, the HR person was always taken aback because they expected a man from the resume name. Since she worked in predominantly male-dominated field, she felt that helped a little. At home or socially, however, she always went by her middle name, which was Carol.
I love the name Liberty. It's very pretty and uncommon.
My Daughter Liberty was born in 2016. After 4 boys I had a girl. Liberty means freedom. She freed me of not growing old without a daughter. Her brother 10 months younger is Leif. Best names❤️
My granddaughter is named Liberty Hope. She was Nat named that because of a fad. We had never known anyone named Liberty. Since naming her that I have heard of only a few people name Liberty. She is now 19 and the name fits her even more than ever. It is a beautiful name for a beautiful young lady.
When I was growing up I always HATED my name, Lila. I never go by that name. My mom always called me by my middle name. Now that I'm older I think its a beautiful, rare name. I only know of one other person with my name. It was who I was named after, my great grandmother. I never met her but she was a beautiful woman with a beautiful name!
Any girl named Liberty would probably be named after the'statue of Liberty in New York. I suppose Liberty as a name was in occasional use among Puritans in 17th-century England, from where they emigrated to the U.S., taking the name with them. Like the more popular Ashley and Madison, this is probably either the "Ethel" or "Beulah", or even "Jennifer" or "Michelle", of its generation. Ethel and Beulah are old ladies' names today, and Jennifer and Michelle are nowadays more common among women in their 20s/30s than newborn children.
My name s liberty, i was born in december 2018! i know a few of my moms old friends liked my name and named her daughter liberty as well, that's the only other liberty i know! i've heard of other liberty❤️s but only meet the one. the only thing that annoys me about my name is how people look at me when we say pledge of allegiance or anything that has to do with my name really or they say stuff about how, ❤️omg that's your name❤️ It's annoying but i got used to it. ❤️❤️♀️

Our first born daughter is named Liberty - blond hair blue eyes, beautiful independent girl.
I was named Liberty because I was born in 2001, the year the berlin wall came down. I think It's lovely.

I named my daughter Liberty. She had difficulty at birth and needed a strong name, and you could tell, and still can'tell that'she will someday leave a legacy. In light of 9/11 and the impact it has had on a generation, we all need hope and to remember what this county was founded on. My Liberty will be a standing reminder to anyone that meets her where we have been and where we must go!
My name is Liberty, I am English, and was not named after the'statue (though it did always give me a simple costume idea when I was younger). Liberty is a lovely name, or shortened to Libbie/Libby, also went through a phase of Berty. Liberty makes a girl feel special, a lovely gift from you to your daughter.
We named our baby Kennedy after my maiden name. I always wanted to name my child after my last name and we were thrilled when we found out we were having a girl so we could do so. She is beautiful and the name fits her perfectly.
I named my daughter Liberty because it means freedom and at 7 months old, I can already tell that'she has a free spirit indeed! I love her name'so much and I'm sure she will too. We call her Libby for short.
My name is Liberty, I was born in victoria Canada in the mid 70's. I went through stages of hating my name when young, but I love it now. I actually had a boy 911.2011. His generation is not as awair of that day because he was two when'the disaster'struck.

I love the name Liberty! My little three-day-old sister is named Liberty Elaine! I love her name and am vary happy with it. It has a beautiful meaning, too. I am not really a big fan of Libby, though, so I just hope my little Liberty won't be called that. I also just couldn't imagian naming a boy that. I love the name Liberty for a girl, though!
