Madaline meaning

My late mother - who if she was still alive would be 92 was named Madaline. I didn't know anyone else had their name'spelled like this. I love it.

My grandbaby's name is Madalin. My daughter loved the name but she didn't want the e at the end of it. I love that name. I call my granddaughter Mad or Memad for short, but mostly she is call Maddie.

We are naming our daughter Raleigh Lane. Pronounced RAH-LEE exactly like the city. Many people think I say Riley or when'they read it they think It's pronounced Ray-Lee (which I hate)... They obviously didn't pay attention to capital cities in social studies. Aside from the mispronunciation, I can't shake this name for our daughter. I also hate when people say it is a "boy's name" and refer to Sir Walter Raleigh.... Raleigh is a surname'so saying that it is masculine because of Sir Walter Raleigh does not make sense. It's a perfectly unisex name and I like it for both boys and girls. We just happen'to like It'specifically for a girl.
