My baby'son is named Shaye as we loved the name and thought it was different to the norm - everyone we meet loves his unusual name too! He wouldnt suit anything else and certainly was "A Gift" given'to us!

umm well im haylee also (: sometimes i like my name'sometimes i dont.. My name is Shaye and having to spell it ALWAYS is a real pain. Also, people call me Sherry, Shane, etc. I also get asked if it is short for something. It's neither feminine or masculine as well. I do like my name but it has its drawbacks.

i've named my first son Shay, and I think It's a great name. Shay is of Celtic origin and means "Gift". I think the'spelling is actually an American-isation of the'shorten form of Seamus. It is also somethimes used as a shorten form of Shymal which is a Indian/Hindi origin name.
