IM 100PERCENT FULL BLOOD ITALIAN and i love that my names in the word ITALIAN haha and i love how I'm the only Talia around where i live.. its amazing i like that my names original and i love when i get compliments on it.. i wouldnt change my name for the world ! i doo nottt meet othe's with the'same name.. i only know of 2 other people.. sometimes people thnk i say my names natalia and i have to correct them and then i feeel awkward but its whatver.. if your planning you name your child this DO IT. i guarentee shelllove it and feeel so unique.. name her'sister bianca just like my sister and theyll both be unique litttle things.
My name is Talia and my middle name is May. I love my name and can't possibly think that there's any better name than that because It's unique but not too different and unusual. It's mispronounced often but not too often'that its annoying.

I am 30 years old, named Talia, pronounced Tal-ya. I really hate when people say Ta-Lee-Ah like the latin american singer because that's just not my name. I do get a lot of compliments on the name. It wasn't as rare as indicated in my neighbourhood - I grew up with three other Talia's and we all still know each other. People tend to think its Italian or Mexican, but the real origins are Hebrew (morning dew) and Greek (also spelled Thalia); overall, I would say It'suits me and I would definitely go with it. Nicknames are T-Bone, Tal, Tali; I like Tal the best.
I actually named my daughter Talya instead of Talia because I liked that'spelling and pronunciation better but I do like it the other way as well... both are pretty and unique!
