I think a good middle name for Xavier would be like Justin, Travis, Daniel, William, Jack, or John. idk i think those sound well w/ xavier

people always pronounce Xavier as X-Zavier, which seems silly to me because X is pronounced as a Z, not an X. i've always loved this name. I love the way It'sounds when spoken, even'the way it looks when written. It's unique without sounding pretentious. We named our son Xavier Daniel. He is now 3yrs. old. My parents named my younger brother Francis Xavier. For 50 years I pronounced it "X-Zavier". Never gave it any thought until I'moved to Cincinnati. This is a great name! As you can probably tell, it is my name. I, however, spell my name DaiSha. The "a" sound is long, and people often say "Oh, like daisy." It was very unique, but I once thought it was too unique. Now, my husband and I have given our three girls even more unique names than mine, and I'm okay okay with that now. Very rarely do people pronounce my name correctly at first glance; they'll always say D-Shay or Deja, and it did bother me. In basc, the language of our country (Basc Country, in Spain) means "the new house". So, the'saint was Francisco from the new house. The fact that a horrible man owned this name has forever ruined it for othe's. If a white boy for example was named Adolf, then his classmates learn in school about the Nazis, he would get picked on, and could even be at the end of a horrible hate crime. This could ruin the child's life. I would never name my child this. Even if the parents are not racist and just liked the name, othe's will not know that. I went to Xavier University, and so many people outside of Cincinnati pronounced it Eggs-avier. That was really annoying, but since I have pride, I correct anyone who mispronounces it.

This is my name and I really do like it! I have am called Lex & Lexi. Its a really easy name to spell and to pronounce.

We named our son Xavier (prounced correctly with a "Z") and almost everyone pronounces it incorrectly (with an "ex") but I expected that when I named him so it doesn't bother me. It is weird how English speaking people are unable to prounce a simple "x" word like that when'they have no problem with xylophone. It is kind of annoying though that whenever'someone needs to spell his name (doctor's office, etc) I tell them what it is and they spell it with a "Z".

Most people in the U.S have the grammar abilities of a fifth grade child ( check local news "journalists" as an example..). The first person on national tv to mispronounce Xavier was Archie Bunker...when he did so ,the educated audience( compared to today's illiterates)roared in laughter at his gaffe. They ALL knew it was incorrect. Bunker mangled many words for his skits. It was all part of his "uneducated" character.

My baby boy's name is Xavier and I absolutely love it. I use the Catalonian pronunciation "chabeer" or "chabi" for short. People have a hard time pronouncing it though and think he's called "Charly". But it got better after the'soccer world cup with two Xavi's on the'spanish team ;-)
