This was my grandmother's name--i've never'seen any one else with it, and have wondered about It's origins.
My name is Fronia and I love it! Yes everyone pronounces it wrong but its not a big deal. I was named after my great great aunt who was from Ireland. "Froe-nah" is how I pronounce it. (without pronouncing the "i") I have never met someone with the name Fronia and everyone I'meet also tells me that I am the only Fronia they have ever met. I like having a unique name and would never change it!! :)
This is my mothe's name and she loves it! She is named after her father, Alexander. She is called "Sandy" by her family. Only a handful of people call her "Alex."
