My name. Typically misspelled: Jared, Jarrod, Jerod
Jarod is my brothe's name after a little boy my mother used to baby'sit. It would have been my name if I was a boy. Most people spell his name wrong but pronounce it correctly. Only once when he was in elementary school did an obnoxious teacher'say his name wrong (even after being corrected and then my dad talked to her lol.) Love the name! And it always seems that people named Jarod are very smart.
I have a nephew named Jarod, no doubt influenced by the tv show The Pretender... Wouldn't name my kid after a tv character, but I do love this name!
