Yesterday, I'met a little 9 year old neighbor girl for the first time with the name "Daisy" and she'said she wanted to change her name because she didn't like it, but when I how told her that I thought that it was a beautiful name her little smile came alive and it looked just like sunshine. I hope I'made her feel better about her name and I told her that "Daisies" are some of the prettiest flowers just like her! At 61 years of age, I hope I lifted the'spirit of such a young little girl who may of been being teased about her name. To all the woman and girls with the name "Daisy" you have a beautiful name!!!
I love, love, love it!! My 6 1/2 year little boy is named Jackson and I still love it. It is a strong name but so sweet too. I was inspired by the Julia Rober's movie, Steel Magnolias. The Jackson in the movie was SOO cute and I just thought it would make such a beautiful name. My little boy has never gone by anything else and I have never let anyone shorten it to Jack, although I do like that name also. A couple of times someone said Jackie and I was like, NO! Other than that, it is pretty straight forward, people usually dont mispronounce it or anything. I do have to say I didn't know any other Jacksons when he was born but It'seems to be pretty popular now.
I named my son (turning 3 months May 16th) Jackson Douglas. Ironically I hadn't known it was quite this popular. I got it from GI'more Girls, a charachter named Jackson, but his real name was Jackson Douglas...and Douglas is my Dads name too so it was perfect. My 4 yr old daughter loved Hannah Montana as well , who on the'show has a brother named Jackson. She was in an accident last year and passed away so its a sentimental name as well. She would have picked it out of the few I was choosing between :)

I just the love the name Jackson, but I didn't want it to be the'same old plain jane old fashion so my husband and I just spiced it up a bit and spelled it Jaxson.. plus we call him Jax for short and that also went with the'spelling.
