Katina meaning

My name is Katina and I also have is mispelled and said wrong (even when people can read my name clearly) as katrina all the time - I hate it because I hate the name Katrina! I don't run into too many people with my name - only one so far in my 27 years. I was named after my dad's Greek great aunt.

This is an appalling name. If you want a drug dealer in the family, call your child Jaiden.

I was named after my grandmother as well. I don't know any Katinas that aren't Greek.

I was born in 1993 and named Katina, I think It's ok because It's not an overly common name. I have met one other Katina, and she likes the name. Sometimes I think the name is a bit plain, or too close to 'Katarina' or 'Katrina'. I get called 'Katrina' a lot, and 'Tina' sometimes! ugh! But all in all it is an all right name, I would rather have this name, then, say, Jennifer.
