well, my name is lina and i don't have a clue why i chose this name...because i was born in china and when I'migrated to australia i can choose a english name myself. my experience to this name is that a fair number of people can remember my name. but when it comes to pronouncing, some people might say it as nina or lena, and sometimes i felt quite pissed off when people does that. and i found it bit hard to say this name my self!!! but its probably because my chinese accent that made it that way. i heard of 2 or 3 people with the name 'lina' but i've never bet anyone with the name lina. and its quite uncommon so not much people named lina would be miscalled is class.
