That's been my name for 55 years now, and It's great. I wouldn't be anything else. Although some schoolfriends (friends❤️) would insist on changing it longer, just because they couldn't shorten it. So (to my annoyance) it has variously been Leo, Leonard (pronounced Lenn-ard) and Leonardo (even "Leonardo da Vinci" by one idiot who wouldn't shut up). To my oldest and best friend, I am still Leo! Oh well.....

I like that this name can be either a boy or girls name and that it can be used on It's own. There are only a few girl names that I like with the ending LEE, Ashlee is one. It has a soft yet strong sound and It's simple.

Lee is my last name and I like it well enough. My experiences with the name have been positive and it is always funny when people (wrongly) assume I am Asian.

My middle name is lee but use it as my Main calling name... I considered changing it to my first name in the place of Roy. Thought it would offend my parents because I have the'same name as my father. I just feel natural with this name. I gave Both my daughters lee as a middle name and They like it very much... Tara Lee and Tessa Lee

My brother and I both have the'same middle name. His is Jackie lee which I love. Mine is violet lee, which I hate. I love violet. It is very feminine, and I wouldn't have minded the'spelling lea or Leigh, but Lee sounds masculine to me and takes away from the ultra feminine violet.

I changed my name to this bc I'm not cisgender, and I like it. It's funny to see how people extend the pronunciation just to make it longer

My name is Lee and It's one of the easiest names to say. A lot of the time I get people asking me if Lee is short for something and after about five minutes of hearing them hilariously try to figure it out, I tell them that it is just Lee.

Is the European Lee short for something❤️ It's weirdly short, Toms are Thomases, Dons are Donalds, Matts are Matthe's, Mikes are Michaels; Lee just sticks out as short for no reason.
