It is actually a misspelling of the original name - don't be hating on people who point that out.

I LOVE MY NAME. It's so unique from all the other 'Rachel's and 'Rachael's

my name is Racheal, some times i spell it as Rachel, and some of my friends spell it as Raycho,Rachelle but to me, the'spelling does not matter. i lopve my name and all my namesakes out there, i love you all.

People never'spell my name correctly. they always spell it rachel or rachael and I get angry because my name is not spelled that way. I understand that it an easy mistake, but there are not a lot of people who can say their name is spelled differently then mostly every other rachel or rachael. :) I'm not bitter about it now I just correct them and most people change it to the way It'should be. other's leave it because they don't really care. the truth is: I think if my name was spelled like every other rachel or rachael in the world I wouldn't have a unique name and it wouldn't be the name my father gave me. "Racheal".....those that are spelled uniquely, are those that are UNIQUE. A word to all those that'spell their name uniquely. My mother mispelled it on my birth cerificate because she was young and all my life I had been questioned about the'spelling. To my continual effort to correct people I now realize that being different is a good thing! Not a bad thing. Being put in the'situation of having to correct someone is a humbling thing, and by being humbled we learn many things of ourselves. And now in my journey as a mother to my twin sons, I being medicated after giving birth to my twins, I spelled my one son's name the wrong way ALSO and he has definitely proven'to be different ALSO .....and so it is truth that generational mistakes do occur but they usually happen for a reason- to prove a point to ourselves. Wow, I'm the first Zetta! I guess It's not that popular. That's okay because I love it. I was named after my late grandmother. People mispronounce It'so much that I'm actually surprised when'they pronounce it right without me correcting them. The most common mispronunciation is "Zeta" (zay-ta) and sometimes "Zeeta". Most people think the correct pronunciation is pretty. I haven't directly met anyone with my name, but I'meet people every now and then'that know someone else with the'same name. I had a young lady tell me that her mother wanted to name her that. I also discovered there's actually another lady in my city with my exact full name which was really surprising. I thought I was the only one! But It's origin is Hebrew and it means "olive tree".

Don't worry Racheals, you can'take comfort in the fact that 'Rachael' Isn't really 'correct' either, just the more common misspelling of 'Rachel'.

Um, I was born in 2009 with the name of Jacalyn. I am in 8th grade now, and everyone calls me Jackie. It would be cool if I was called Jac I guess. Many people get the'spelling wrong.
