I'm a girl named Sterling. Many people say "Wow.. Cool name!" But the kids my age (13-14) tease.. Saying It's a boys name and what not. I don't really care, though. I love it.
I was born in 1974 and my first name is Sterling. It's inter'sting to note that, as stated in an earlier post, the most common mistake is when I'm called "Spencer." I have also got the odd "Stanley," too - which I really don't like.
I love Sterling for a girl. I plan naming one of my future daughters Sterling - or at least using it as a middle name.
My girl is named Sterling. How accurate is this site❤️
I plan to name my future child Sterling. I'm debating between a boy and girl name, but leaning towards boy since most have said It'sounds more boy. Apparently if I have a girl it would be a "stripper's name". I disagree though, I love it either way!
Well for all you folks aout there..Its the most important female name for me as it is the name of my fiancee'!!!. It is very nice, cute and lovely feminine name.... It is basically an Arabic as well as Russian/Spanish name. In Arabic it means "Caller" and in Spanish/Russian it means "Hope". I think It'suits me in both ways as my fiancee has "called" me towards happiness and "hope" in our lives...!!! Thanks God. In arabic it is is pronounced " NA-DEE-AA"....Hence it is no problem in places where people know its arabic pronunciation...I also pronounce it that way...but other ways are present as it is an INTERNATIONAL name...!!!
