And when I was in grade 4, I learned that in social that in the early 1900's that'someone wanted to name the province buffalo, since there was lots of buffalo. But yes! Alberta is a beautiful name for a province.
I am a 43yr mother of 2 and absolutely hate my name when I was a child kids always called me Alberto Balsam (very original) but I wanted to be a Julie or Lisa something normal I always felt stI'matised by my stupid name and really have never grown to like it
My name is Alberta and I am a hardworking mother of four. I have a Jane, a Roberta, a Mary, and a Claudia. I liked Jane and Mary because they were popular in my time and I like Claudia because It's sort of "in" now. So we have old fashioned and new fashioned! And I like Roberta because it is a mix with me and my husbands name (He is Robert). I love our family and can't wait to get a puppy!
